HERRMANN ULTRASONICS INDUSTRY INTERACTION TOUR

 Herrmann Ultrasonics will open its doors and host an Industry Interaction Tour of their facilities in
Bartlett, IL. All registered Global Pouch Forum attendees are invited to attend this event. There is no additional cost for the tour or motor coach transportation.
Please note that you must register in advance for this tour and all
attendees must be approved by the respective event host.
ABOUT THE TOUR
When it comes to reliable, high-speed sealing equipment for
packaging applications, Herrmann Ultrasonics provides the complete
solution: Ultrasonic packaging Generators, waterproof packaging
Converters, FEM designed acoustic stacks, customized anvils,
machine integration, backed by in-dept application lab team in Bartlett, IL. Our broad experience
is based on a large number of successful applications. Herrmann Ultrasonics possesses specific
knowledge in sealing packages with many machine builders for different pouch applications.

• Introduction to ultrasonic principles and applications
• Demonstration of ultrasonic sealing through contamination
• SUP sealing modules demonstration
• Integrated ultrasonic sealing solution example from INTERPACK 2008
Refreshments will be served in the Black Forest room and conclude the tour.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOUR
To register for the Hermann Ultrasonics tour, please send an email to: martinellij@bnpmedia.com and include the names and company affiliations of all registered Global Pouch attendees who
plan to take the tour. Please also indicate if you want to reserve a seat on the motor coach
or whether you will be driving separately.
TRANSPORTATION
Packaging Strategies will provide one (1) luxury motor coach with first-come, first-served seating
that will transport attendees from the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort to the Hermann
Ultrasonics facility and will return to the hotel by 6:00 pm on Wednesday evening in plenty of
time to attend the Global Pouch Innovation Welcome Reception. Attendees with their own mode
of transportation are also welcome to participate. Driving directions to Hermann Ultrasonics will
be provided on-site at the Global Pouch Forum for those who wish to participate but will not be
riding the motor coach.
TOUR SCHEDULE
3:00 pm Motor coach departs the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort
3:30-4:30 pm Herrmann Ultrasonics tour
4:30 pm Motor coach departs for return trip
5:30 pm Arrive at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort

Hermann Ultrasonics reserves the sole right to approve participation. You will be notified in
advance of tours if your attendance is not approved. Packaging Strategies assumes no
responsibility or liability for the host’s decision.
