Jarod Booth, Sales Director, Initsys Telemetry and Telematics Ltd
Jarod Booth is Sales Director for Initsys, a European manufacturer and supplier of network video and data transmission solutions. Initsys is leading the market with its Innovative Technology.
He has developed extensive knowledge of the Security Industry from ground level to Directorship. His experience of electronic security began as an Apprentice Engineer for Chubb Security, continuing in engineering up to CCTV Support Manager at ADT. After gaining extensive experience in installation and maintenance of systems he sought new challenges becoming Technical Support and Area Sales Manager for Panasonic UK. Jarod has 20 years experience of electronic security.
Heading up a new venture in 2002 specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of Turnkey Security Solutions embracing network video, IP Transmission and access control solutions led to a merger in 2006 with Initsys.
Jarod is responsible for development of Partner and End User sales and support, working with other manufacturers to enable integration to Initsys VerifiedAlarms Network, and developing new and innovative solutions both in-house and with external partners.
Jarod is married and resides in Central England.

Bud Broomhead, CEO, Intransa
Bud Broomhead brings to Intransa two decades of executive experience in the technology sector, leading innovative teams with privately-held startups, mid-range, and large enterprises.
Mr. Broomhead most recently was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Topio, Inc. through the acquisition by Network Appliance. Earlier, Mr. Broomhead served as CEO and co-founder of startup IRL Networks after successfully leading New Business Ventures, Network Storage at Sun Microsystems where he targeted new lines of business through mergers & acquisitions. He also was co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of HighGround Systems, a pioneer in Storage Resource Management software, and had been General Manager of Auspex Systems Inc. for EMEA, and held management and leadership roles for HSM vendor Epoch Systems, acquired by EMC.

Dan Dunkel brings over 22 years of successful sales, management, and executive experience in the information technology industry to a consulting practice focused on the emerging field of security convergence. His background includes domestic and international responsibilities for direct sales organizations, value added reseller channels, and OEM contracts. His product knowledge spans enterprise software, server architectures, and networking technologies. Dan’s employment history includes senior roles in pre-IPO ventures, mid cap IT manufacturers, and Fortune 50 organizations.
His firm, New Era Associates, is a privately held consultancy specializing in sales strategy and business partner development between IT and physical security vendors and integrators. NEA client’s range from Fortune 500 enterprises to privately funded and venture backed start-ups. Michael Engle, Vice President, Lehman Brothers
Michael Engle is Vice President of Corporate Security at Lehman Brothers. He has over 12 years experience designing and managing secure enterprise systems. Prior to joining Corporate Security in 2005, he was responsible for the firm’s IT Security strategy and engineering. His technical experience includes creating enterprise processes for Information Security issues including policy, privacy, compliance, and security awareness. He has managed teams of security professionals tasked with all aspects of Information Security. Steve Hartman served 20 years in the Military, 7 years in the U.S. Marines and 13 years in the U.S. Navy. He was also a founding member of the U.S. Navy SEAL Counter-Terrorism "RED CELL" Team. Since retirement from the military Steve has trained over a thousand law enforcement officers across the country in counter-terrorism, hostage rescue, tactics, marksmanship, deployment and use of technology. He has also provided security and logistical consulting services to multi-national companies overseas. Steve moved back to New York after 9/11 and was hired as the Director of Security for Vornado Realty (Penn Plaza Area) since January 2004. |

Henry Bros. Electronics, Inc. (HBE) in 1989. Mr. Henry worked for Henry
Bros. Electronics, Inc., a family business, as a technician from 1968 to
1978, servicing and installing CCTV, audio and radio communications
system, and then as a systems engineer from 1978 through 1989. When
Henry Bros. was sold to Communications Group, Inc., in 1985, he remained

Steve Hunt, President & CEO, 4A International

Before joining Giga, he served as technical director to an Israeli security company's 20 worldwide channels and resellers. Previously, Steve worked as a consultant to Chicago's financial community. Throughout the 1980s, he implemented and designed security for facilities, including physical access control systems, disaster recovery, alarms, and surveillance.

Christina S. Kite, Vice President, Cisco Systems
Chris is currently the Vice President, Global Work Place Resources and Risk Management, within the Finance organization. In this capacity, she is responsible for the identification, categorization, mitigation and transfer of risk for the Corporation. She is also responsible for the acquisition and disposition of real estate, management of workplace related services, global safety and security, business resiliency, environmental and social responsibility, construction of buildings and projects, and the strategy and planning activities associated with these functions.
Prior to her rotation within Finance, Chris held various positions including support for Engineering, Technical Services, and Finance and Corporate Systems. During these various rotations, Chris was responsible for innovatively exploiting technology to accelerate implementation of corporate strategies and new business opportunities.
Prior to joining Cisco, Chris was Director, Strategy, Planning and Control with Franklin Resources, one of the largest mutual fund organizations in the world. She has also held senior management positions with Coopers & Lybrand and the Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Dan Moceri has 25 plus years in the electronic security, fire alarm & life safety, and building management systems industry. He is currently chairman & chief executive officer for Convergint Technologies, a North American systems integrator. Peterson has more than 29 years of experience in the design, specification, deployment, and project management of large-scale integrated security solutions including: intrusion detection, physical access control, video surveillance, and communications systems. Most recently, Peterson serves as director of HID Corporation's "Intelligent Technology Design Resource" (iTDR) group, which provides technology and design counsel to specifiers, consultants, engineers, and designers as they work with their clients to migrate to new secure access control and identification technologies. |
Maureen Rush, Vice President for Public Safety, University of Pennsylvania
Maureen S. Rush, Vice President for Public Safety, University of Pennsylvania, directs the tactical and strategic direction of the Division of Public Safety, managing a budget of over $21 million dollars and encompassing seven departments totaling 175 staff members. The departments include: The Office of the Vice President, the University of Pennsylvania Police Department, Security & Technical Services, Fire & Emergency Services, Special Services, the PennComm Operations Center and Finance & Administration. The Division of Public Safety also employs approximately 450 contract security officers to secure buildings, student residences and supplement the Penn Police Department on street patrol within the Penn Police patrol jurisdiction.
Prior to holding the position of Vice President for Public Safety, Ms. Rush served as the Chief of the Penn Police Department from 1996 through 2000, and the Director of Victim Support & Special Services from 1994 through 1996, both within the Division of Public Safety.
During her tenure as Chief of Police, Penn’s Police Department evolved into a model campus law enforcement agency, continually meeting the challenges faced by an urban university, while at the same time strengthening its relationships with the community and with the City of Philadelphia. With 116 police officers, the Penn Police Department is the largest private police department in the state of Pennsylvania and the fourth largest private police department nationally. In March 2001, the Penn Police Department was awarded national accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA), thereby, becoming the first nationally accredited campus police agency within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Prior to coming to the University of Pennsylvania, Ms. Rush had a distinguished eighteen-year law enforcement career with the Philadelphia Police Department from 1976 through 1994. Ms. Rush served in various positions, namely: the Patrol Division, the Anti-Crime Unit, the Traffic Division, the Narcotics Unit, and the Training Bureau. In 1976, Ms. Rush was one of the first 100 women police officers hired to serve the City of Philadelphia on “street patrol” in a pilot program directed by the United States Department of Justice. Women now comprise twenty-five percent of the Philadelphia Police Department, with approximately 1,650 officers, as a result of that successful pilot program.
Ms. Rush holds a M.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Organizational Dynamics. She has also completed the John F. Kennedy School of Government, the Northwestern School of Staff & Command and the FBI’s Law Enforcement Executive Development Program. In 2004, Ms. Rush completed a year-long program with Philadelphia Leadership, Inc. a regional leadership think tank and during the same year, earned a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification from the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) International Professional Certification Board.

Marshall is Managing Director, IRMG, an international risk management consultancy and security solutions group. Prior to joining IRMG he was Vice President and founding Chief Security Officer, Level3 Communications, a Fortune 500 international communications and information services company.
At Level3 he was responsible for strategic direction, management and oversight of Level3’s commercial and government security programs to include logical, physical, and information security, data privacy, business continuity and emergency management. He pioneered the development and implementation of a converged security architecture successfully integrating network and physical security operations, architecture and engineering.
From 1985 to 1989 he served as the founding Director of Security for President Regan's Strategic Defense Initiative Program. Scott Schafer joined Pelco in 2004 as Senior Vice President, Marketing and North America Sales. In his current role, Mr. Schafer is responsible for the marketing and sales of Pelco products, systems and solutions and through Pelco’s global, national and regional sellers.
Through his work at Pelco, Mr. Schafer said he has come to realize that video security is not only important in protecting people and business, as well as reducing fraud and theft—video security can be a strategic weapon for customers in providing important new enabling technologies to improve business operations and deliver important value.
Before coming Pelco, Mr. Schafer was the Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Services for the Reynolds and Reynolds Company. Reynolds and Reynolds is the leading computer systems and software provider to the automotive retail and OEM market. Scott Schafer held a number of senior management positions at NCR Corporation in general management, marketing management and field sales management in NCR’s computer systems, software, networking and services business. Rob Zivney, Vice President of Marketing, Hirsch Electronics
