Jim Stamer President Prospect Waterproofing Company

Jim Stamer is President and Co-owner of Prospect Waterproofing Company, a roofing and waterproofing contractor serving the Washington/Baltimore Metropolitan area.  Since 1992, Prospect has installed millions of square feet of roofing, waterproofing and sheet metal on projects ranging in size from a few thousand dollars to over five million dollars.

Jim became involved in construction in 1977 as a laborer on his father’s roofing crew working on the Maryland National Bank Building in downtown Baltimore.  In 1981, he became an estimator for the Warren Ehret Linck Company in their D.C. office.  The following year, he brought his estimating talents to Prospect Enterprises, the predecessor to Prospect Waterproofing Co.  At Enterprises, he rapidly moved through the ranks from estimator to Remedial Construction Sales Manger to Vice President of Sales and Marketing.  Then, in 1994, he went into partnership and purchased the Prospect Waterproofing Company where he serves as President to this date.
