Integrated Environmental Management Platforms Transform Compliance Challenges into Business Efficiencies
Global climate change and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Regional water shortages and industrial wastewater. Hazardous waste tracking and disposal. New legislation and regulations are coming. Each environmental management issue represents another challenge for business and industry. Companies face urgent demands for transparency and accountability from government regulators, watchdog groups and stakeholders including customers, employees and investors. Some companies try to address hot-button issues with disparate systems - leading to unnecessary proliferation, complexity, risks and costs. Industry leaders, however, are treating today's urgent new challenges as opportunities to establish a broad foundation for sustainability management. They are implementing flexible, scalable, integrated EH&S software platforms that leverage master data across multiple applications, enhancing operational efficiency and assuring data integrity - and thereby turning sustainability into a driver for business success.
