Join us this Fall 2009 to learn about the concepts, technologies, practices, and processes that will be instrumental to infrastructure and economic renewal, and to the realization of a more efficient future for buildings.
The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act Commits Billions For Immediate Delivery of High Performance Buildings
With more than $100 billion for new construction, energy efficiency retrofits, and energy related research, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act aims to improve buildings and their energy efficiency across a wide spectrum of federal agencies. Among the Act’s many provisions, it calls for:
A massive effort to upgrade public buildings and make them significantly more energy-efficient
Modernization and repair of school and higher education buildings across the country with a focus on energy efficiency and technology
Substantial investment in clean and renewable energy technology and jobs
Green and intelligent buildings are a vital element in the fulfillment of this
unprecedented and ambitious plan.
Benefits Of Attending
Here's What One Of Our Past Attendees Had To Say:
"I went to the Green Intelligent Building Conference with an open mind, not knowing exactly what to expect. What I found were intelligent presentations by people knowledgeable about energy conservation, building controls, lighting controls, plus a host of other areas. The question and answer sessions were able to provide information that you just can't get out of a magazine article or book. I recommend anyone interested in improving their facilities to attend."
